Cocktails were nothing special and with a minimal amount of alcohol. When the barman noticed we aren’t foreigners, he started adding the correct amount of alcohol for the second round of cocktails. I’m pretty sure they are instructed to cheap out on putting alcohol. Also, how is it possible to have a bar without its own toilet (this is a legal requirement in Bulgaria)? Even if the owner bribed authorities to allow his bar operate without a toilet, why didn’t he also pay a fee to the near public paid toilet’s owner so that the bar customers use it for free.
