Sofia Day and Night

The owner was prompt in answering our inquiries and helpful in general. There was plenty of space in the apartment...of course we were only 2 people. The location was central enough to make it easy to access the metro, restaurants and sights.Negatives:· 1. The sofa and mattresses pads could use a cleaning...They smelled stuffy and a bit smokey. When we closed the windows, the apartment smelled stuffy and of residual smoke when we returned. This said, over all the apartment was acceptably clean.2. The bathroom was VERY TINY (no shower pan) and without a window...This would have been acceptable had the shower water drained better and a sewer smell had not been overpowering (the sewer smell was gone on the day we left so this could have been due to work being done in the street water lines because the owner swore it was an anomoly.3. WARNING - Don’t OVERPAY for this apartment. We would probably rate this apartment higher had we paid the ongoing price in June 2019 of a little over $500 per week. Instead we paid almost double the market price because we reserved months ahead (hoping for a dream apartment to rest in for a week) and we could not cancel 30 days prior to arrival. Boy were we disappointed!
