There are regular buses to Sofia from here about 1 every hour in the daytime. You can get tickets at the counter and pay with credit card. The station seems to be really old and there are no decent shops in it. The station is about 15 minutes walk to the historic centre.

Small old looking bus station. Few options to eat around but generally fast food. Not much space to sit or rest.

Малка автогаричка симпатична може и още да се иска като подобрение но и така си ми харесва и линията Асеновград Пловдив по която пътувам ми е много удобна

Закупуването на билети е бързо, гарата покрива много линии само паркирането е трудничко заради множеството еднопосочните улици.

A standard nondescript bus station with few amenities. It's notable because it's the bus station to and from Sofia (2 hour ride for 14 lev each way). The last bus for Sofia leaves at 20.00 (at least on a November Sunday).

the bus station is old and in serious need of renovation. Especially the toilets need a makeover. There is not a lot of seating place and a lot of people smoke outside. On the other hand the station is functioning fine for it's primary purpose: buses arrive and leave on time and are mostly clean and ok (yet crowded). Seats are numbered and your seat number is on your ticket. You should buy your ticket about 15 min beforehand to be sure.Important Update: although the website says differently, there are NO buses to Sofia after 12:30!!
