Milena is an excellent teacher with an extremely well-organised curriculum. Lessons are engaging and Milena is extremely patient - an essential characteristic considering how badly I've brutalised Bulgarian grammar as a beginner!! The supplementary online learning materials ensure continued progress between lessons. Can't recommend highly enough!

I would 100% recommend BLC for anyone hoping to learn Bulgarian! I took group lessons with two other people and learned so much in a short time. Milena is super patient, prepared, and explains difficult concepts incredibly well! The lessons are also affordable, and overall you can choose your own pace of learning

Milena is an excellent teacher, she is patient and friendly. As a person whose always struggled with learning new languages I've made so much progress with her. Milena used a variety of teaching methods that kept me engaged and interested. She used visual aids and interactive exercises to help us learn and remember the material. She also created a supportive and positive learning environment that made me feel comfortable practicing my Bulgarian skills. I would definitely recommend Bulgarian Linguistic Centre for anyone trying to learn Bulgarian.

I have had both on-line and class based lessons with Milena. I am not a natural linguist and recommend both. The course material is very thorough and easy to follow and Milena is supportive and friendly while managing to cover a lot of ground. The class is small and not at all intimidating for those who are less confident but maybe are looking for some peer support or to get out of the house. I am looking forward to the next term eagerly.

He tenido la oportunidad de conocer distintos profesores que garantizan un curso de primer nivel, BLC está muy por encima de cualquier profesor o curso que haya conocido. El material proporcionado, el acceso a sus distintas herramientas de aprendizaje, el detalle con el que ha sido programado el plan de estudio y la efectividad de Milena me han motivado a escribir estas líneas … Totalmente recomendable 5 estrellas no es suficiente!!

I wanted to start some Bulgarian lessons whilst staying in Plovdiv and discovered Milena's school and started a course. I found the course work to be incredibly enjoyable and the material was easy to take in and understandable. Milena is a great teacher. She takes her time to explain the parts I find challenging and has made the chore of learning a new language into a pleasant hobby. In only a few months, I went from just knowing basic greetings to being able to give speeches in Bulgarian at my wedding! I have now continued lessons but online only. Which has worked out wonderfully my life schedule and being able to continue and progress in my Bulgarian availability brings me jow. I aim to keep up with Lessons until I am fluent and would highly recommend The Bulgarian Linguistics center to anyone!

Milena is an excellent teacher! She is patient and friendly, and working with her I've made so much progress, despite always having struggled with learning languages. She creates her own materials, which are easy to follow, and the pace of the course is great. The way that she introduces new vocabulary and grammar rules, combined with a review of ones we’ve already covered, has been perfect for me. The class I'm in has met both in person and online, and she is equally great in both modes of instruction. I highly recommend her!

La profesora Milena ha sido mi tutora durante un año y medio, es muy flexible y varía los métodos de enseñanza según tus gustos y preferencias: en moodle, con apps, vídeos, lecturas, discusiones orales... siempre tiene un plan B si algo falla. Es muy agradable y siempre pregunta si te pareció interesante, fácil o difícil el ejercicio para avanzar más despacio o deprisa. En mi caso aprendí búlgaro desde el castellano y ha sido una experiencia estupenda, mis conocidos y conocidas nativas búlgaras me dicen siempre que en poco tiempo he aprendido muchísimo gracias a BLC y cuando tenga tiempo libre continuaré con esta escuela.

Sin duda la mejor profesora para aprender búlgaro. Muy buen material, muy buena dinámica de aprendizaje, todo muy estructurado y organizado en la plataforma online que usamos. Si tengo alguna duda puntual siempre está ahí para resolverla en cualquier momento. Además, la mejor manera de aprender un idioma es desde el tuyo propio. Yo recibí hace unos años clases de búlgaro desde el inglés, y ahora es cuando he entendido realmente muchas cosas de la gramática que en su día no llegue a tener claro del todo. Así que para los hispanoparlantes, que Milena hable tan bien español es una gran ventaja.
