Acoustic Waves

We hired Krasi for the acoustic treatment of our beloved EW Studio, Sofia. ​​It was simply stunning how much more sound we got for the small investment we could afford. Now there is not a single spot at the club that cannot experience proper bass response - we don't even need to worry about excessive bass levels at the DJ booth. And probably best of all - we have observed it has become a frequent topic of conversation among the people visiting our venue. Mission completed! :)

It was a big challenge to balance all the acoustic and human requirements during the creation of the new Graffiti studios, but we did it in a wonderful way. The sound is clear, articulated and isolated from acoustic artefacts in the whole audio spectrum, the stereo picture is accurate and at the same time, the studios feel natural. Perfect studios and perfect sound!

Krasi is an easy going person and without question - a professional! When I decided to start this project I wasn't fully aware of the end result I would get. I had never had the opportunity to listen to sound waves in such a properly treated room

When I moved my studio to a new space here in the mountains of Sofia, I had the desire to have a customized room for working properly with sound. Acoustic Waves came in my need and work to design a new acoustically treated room suitable for my needs. They did an amazing job, the new listening experience is fantastic, now I have a balanced and detailed frequency response of my monitors like never before.Highly professional output from Acoustic Waves!

As a sound engineer and chief engineer of Bulgarian National Radio I have participated in the creation of many recording and broadcasting studios. In the last decade I worked with most of the acoustical engineers in Bulgaria and definitely Krasi Yonchev (the person behind Acoustic Waves LTD) is one of the best. There is no challenge that is too scary for him. Last project we worked together was Studio EW where he reduced RT60 3 times and converted concrete cathedral" (6m ceiling space) into pristine studio covering the broadcasting industry standards. The project exceeded all my expectations. For the first time I heard my speakers that well and clean. Despite all peculiarities of the room, Krasi did a perfect job. The end result is amazing clear sound and stereo image with no any unwanted resonances. The room design is just astonished!I can highly recommend Acoustic Waves!

If you want to make a high resolution hi-end system without acoustic treatment it'l be totaly impossible. Thanks to Acoustic Waves I was able to take the way to the acoustic treatment from 0. Each time I put any acoustic elements in the room I had to listen to my favorite songs again. Each element causes the room to looks" bigger for the speakers and to be more silent for the listener. Combination of absorbers and diffusers make possible to hear detais and sounds that nobody can hear on systems for 500K $ if there is no treatment."

Had the pleasure this summer to visit two venues in Sofia that have treated by the people at Acoustic Waves. I can't talk enough praise of the acoustic treatment these lads put in. Krasi is a very knowledgeable man and will definitely call upon his expertise in the future.
