DO NOT hire a car off these cowboys when our car arrived it was dirty inside and stank of cigarette smoke and outside it wasn’t even washed and was full of scratches and marks, we asked them for a different car but was told that this was the only car available so we reluctantly took it as we had travel plans and couldn’t wait another day for a different car, we drove the car for following two days with warning lights on on the dash including lights for the air bags not working and the two back shocks broken the front left light was held in place with a cable tie and a piece of timber then we got broken down in Bucharest on the Sunday the car wouldn’t start and when I phoned Balkan Net to ask them to send out a mechanic to check the problem and was told that this was my problem I must have left the lights on and run the battery down and that I would have to call a mechanic out to check the problem myself and that I would have to pay for the mechanic they weren’t going to call a mechanic out and they wouldn’t pay to check it we were shocked at their response that they didn’t care about me or my family broken down and wouldn’t help us so we were left stranded in Bucharest having to pay for a mechanic ourselves to check out their car when I keep calling them to help us they wouldn’t talk to me they just repeated to me that it was my problem and I had to fix it myself, we kept calling and sending text messages and emails to help us but they wouldn’t answer so we had no option but to call out a mechanic ourselves that evening to check the problem, the mechanic arrived and the car was diagnosed with a computer problem and could not be fixed for a couple of days, the mechanic called Balkan Net to tell them the problem with the car and they told him they would call him Monday and let him know what they would do with the car but we would pay him for the call out to check the problem and to tell us to leave the car there and get our own way back to Bulgaria all this was at our own expense so we ended up having to stay another night it a hotel and get the bus back to Bulgaria the next day, so we had to pay for the mechanic ourselves, we had to pay for an extra night in the hotel ourselves, we had to pay to get back to Bulgaria the next day ourselves, we had already paid hire for the car for three more days and gave a deposit that Balkan Net would not return the three days Hire that we didn’t have the car nor would they wouldn’t return the deposit to us it ruined our holidays so don’t let this happen to you and your family stay away from this company they are not about customer service they only care about money they are a bunch of cowboys do not trust them or believe what you see on their website shown pictures of new cars it’s all fake

The lowest prices we could find and very friendly staff.The car was new and reliable.They made us a permission to cross the border and we had a great holiday in Greece!

Pleasant experience, honestly didn't expect the procedure to be so quick. No additional costs and got a nice car. Reasonable pricing and positive attitude from the staff.

The thing is I rented a car but the car was absolutely useless. Everywhere oh the car had scratched and it was very dirty car inside also outside.I don't recommend at all this company. Don't waste your time

Additionally to car rentals this company provides a housing rental services. We made a HUGE MISTAKE when decided TO MAKE a DEAL with THIS COMPANY.In the contract was an agreement that after the previous tenant with a dog the apartment has to be cleaned, disinfected, new furniture has to be bought, all electronic supplies have to be in working condition, parking place, wi-fi were must-have for our work and life there. Nothing of this was ready for our check-in day.Conditions on the moment of our check-in day:1. Strong and unpleasant dog smell on the apartment's first floor.2. Mud and dog hair on the sofa folds on the first floor of the apartment, wet3. Extremely hard smell of dog from sofa #1, sagging sofa #1; broken sofa #2 under stairs4. Mud, dog hair, and leftovers of dog food around and beyond the dishwasher5. First-floor bathroom - no hot water, no working ventilation, damp smell;6. Kitchen zone - dirty oven with soot; unworking hood and two of four burners;7. Dirty windows on the first floor8. Molder old bed, chaotic wires near the bed, unfixed plinth in bedroom #1;9. Strong and unpleasant smell of tobacco smoke from mattress #2, used conditions, dirty, wet;10. Broken jalousie in bedrooms #1, #2, #3;11. Second-floor bathroom - fungus around the bath;12. No Wi-Fi, impossible to use parking because of blocking place by another car.13. Dirt from the air conditioner, unpleasant smell from the conditioner, etc.It was impossible to live in these conditions (especially with two children) and we moved from there - owner rejected back of any money (1 month+deposit was paid on the stage of the signing of the contract), avoided meeting, providing, payment receipts, negotiating. Finally, only with the help of a lawyer, we got back only 50% of the deposit part.It's a total fraud, ignorance, cheating, and willingness to get easy money from non-Bulgarian citizens.Please avoid this company and its owner Plamen!

For almost 5 years now I rent cars from them and I can say that the prices are one of the best in Sofia. They have never charged me anything additional or besides the contract as some of the other Rent-A-Car companies do. Highly recommend them!
