Burgas Sushi

We loved the sushi here, you can feel the fresh ingredients, and the sushi is made with care. The owner is nice and welcoming. I would change a bit the seating area, make the bench maybe a bit lower as it is too high if you wanna sit and eat. I recommend it :)

If all sushi places could be like this!Small place, but a great owner makes high quality sushi.You can really taste, this is quality ingredients.He is helpfull towards people thats not so used to sushi.I would love to go back.

The best sushi in Burgas! And the guy working there is so nice. A lot of different options, also vegetarian/vegan. And so cheap! You have to go here if you're in Burgas.

This is the best sushi in town. Freshly made with smile and served with explanation what the name of the food means. I cannot recommend this place more. Go for the food, enjoy the music (whiskey blues), it is worth it.

This place has me at a loss for words. Saying this sushi tastes exceptional would not do it justice and the prices are honestly a steal.No matter if you're looking for a snack in between (I recommend the maki mix) or a sweet spot for a date night, this is your place.The food:The rice is perfectly done with a mix of rice vinegar and sugar I have not yet come across anywhere else. The seaweed used rounds this up excellently. Building upon that well balanced base, the ingredients used on top are both fresh and of very high quality. If you have a thing for fish, the sashimi here will show you what I mean.We first ordered a plate for two (1) as well as tuna sashimi (2) and afterwards shared a portion of rolls from the special row on the menu (3).(1) The plate for two is basic in design but brilliant in execution, making it perfect for anyone who likes sushi but isn't looking for anything particularly surprising or outlandish.(2) The sashimi were simply amazing. While they don't say much about the chef's skill in the kitchen due to their intrinsically simple nature, they demonstrate the great selection of ingredients chosen him.(3) This plate blew us away. The chef recommended it to us due to the versatile combination of fresh, cold ingredients, the grilled salmon on top and the great sauce on top. He did not exaggerate, this is some of if not the best sushi we ever ate. A must for anyone wanting to try something new. By the way, there originally were eight, not seven. We just couldn't hold back.The experience:The atmosphere is homely. The interior is basic but comfortable and the music has a very relaxing quality. In our case it was a slow blues playlist with great classics.But the most important part is the owner himself. This man is a master of his craft and clearly loves what he does with passion. Not only will he gladly guide you through the menu and give you insights into each option but he also won't shy away from some personal conversations. We talked about sushi, our vacation in bulgaria and his journey as a sushi chef. This gave both the atmosphere and meals a great depth that you just can't find anywhere else.Summary:Despite my considerable amount of experience with Japanese cuisine, the sushi offered here set a new bar for me. I can not recommend this place enough. No matter if you are trying to get into sushi or are a seasoned sushi fanatic, the place will blow you away at an absurdly low price. I would gladly pay double the price for this quality of sushi alone.Edit: we tried more and it was just as good if not better. You serious have to come here, the place and owner will blow you away. Pictured are: first green ebi rolls as well as yasi sake maki rolls on a plate, second the Burgas sushi salad which, by the way, makes for a perfect appetizer.

Traditional sushi made the right way. The quality of ingredients is very good and the owner is one of the nicest guys in Burgas! If you want quality sushi this is the only place to visit.

Best sushi on the Balkans. Got a couple of rakia shots on the house for desert. The quality of the tuna exceeded most of the sushi resto’s I have been to. Kudos to chef Ivan.
