Красивое здание. Внутри интересный музей.

I am giving this place 2 stars because the building is still standing and most of the synogogues that where located within the Axis powers are not standing or recognized. Besides a building there is nothing. It has no history information of the Jewish population in Burgas. There is now a art gallery. There is no remennant of the religious sanctuary of the synogogue. There are no pews, no Ark and nothing that resembles a synogue within the building. The plaque on the out side is a thank you plaque from the Jewish decendance of bulgarian Jews. The plaque claims that the Jews of bulgary where not shipped out to the death camps. This is not totally true. During the Holocaust Bulgary was part of the Axis powers. In The Kingdom of Bulgaria being Yugoslavia and Greece the Jews where deported to their death. For those interested in The Jews in Bulgaria proper during the Holocaust they should look into the subject.
