Very friendly consulate, documents for visa were applied fast without any issues. Need to book appointment date in advance, thus no queues when you visit the consulate.

I am very satisfied with the work of the consulate! Appointments can be booked in advance by phone or email. During a personal visit, the employees always explain everything in detail and help if any problems arise.I made a visa here (they did it very quickly, less than a week), as soon as it was ready, they immediately called me and said that I could pick it up.

Unfortunately I have to say that very uneducated and impolite people are working in the consulate department. We never saw Mr. consul. Just two people work to get the documents. One of them can not talk English the other can not talk Bulgarian! We proved that we want to buy properties in Kavala, they made us a lot of troubles, and from each one of our group got 20 to 105 pages documents. Behave us like they are police and we are guilty people and told that you are Iranian and risky people!!! Today one of them call me to come and collect the passports. More than 40 minutes I was waiting for passports. Then when I asked one of them that when I can get my passports? he shouted me: Go to other side of office and be quiet! I told him how you dare to talk like that? You think that who you are? He told me I will tell you who I am and gave to our group just 2 days and one night visa!!!! 29 and 30 !!!! When I asked why? He said system gives like that because you have one day reservation of hotel!!!! I have all documents and will prove all.

They refused to even apply for visa for my Thai girlfriend because she does not have Bulgarian id card... These people are lazy and does not care for human and European rights.

After all the troubles I passed, time and money spent (or better say wasted) and waiting for such a long time for an answer, I got 2 days visa. I mean is this a clichè or a joke?2 days and 1 night, like what do you expect me to do with it? A one night stand? How Greek...Clowns are more serious that these guys.

The second time I applied for a visa at this consulate, both times everything went fine. Very friendly and polite staff, the work of the consulate is well organized, there are no queues, since you come strictly by appointment, the visa itself is done very quickly. Thanks for your work!
