The tour guide is very professional and knowledgeable about the history of Bulgaria. He is a nice guy and helpful.The tour allows sufficient time for us to visit the monastery and take photos.

As soon as we arrived in Bulgaria, we got a message from Philip that we would not be able to do our planned excursion to Rila Lakes due to weather. He was quick to apologize and also to suggest alternate tours that we could do instead. He was great to communicate with and helped us book our tour.We loved our outing to Bell Park, the National History Museum and especially Rila Monastery. Bobby, our driver, was polite and knowledgeable and was good to point out things and give us directions and things to look for at each stop. This was one of the highlights of our family’s visit to Sofia!

J’ai fait l’excursion qui combine la randonnée aux 7 lacs de Rila et la visite du monastère. Je recommande chaudement cette excursion, qui permet de se rendre facilement et agréablement d’un endroit à l’autre tout en étant autonome pour les visites. Notre accompagnateur était sympathique et nous a partagé beaucoup d’information intéressante sur Sofia et la Bulgarie. À faire sans hésiter, les lieux sont magnifiques et incontournables!

Rila shuttle a été une superbe expérience très bien programmée ! Le bus part tôt pour nous permettre de faire la randonnée la plus longue avec les 7 lacs et de poursuivre avec la visite du monastère de Rila en une seule journée. Le bus était à l'heure et nous a même ramené à Sofia en avance. Nous recommandons totalement ce voyage à faire au moins une fois dans sa vie !

Really good service and prompt replies. The day trip to the lakes and monastery went smoothly and Philip gave lots of useful tips for the self guided tour.

The guide was so helpful and we have talked a lot about the monuments and the Bulgarian culture! Wonderful trip, hope to come back ;)

Had a wonderful time with our visit to Rila lakes and the monastery. The shuttle was well on time for everything, and the guide was very helpful and spoke good English. We had a mostly self-guided tour of the lakes which were incredibly beautiful - the walk is a little tough in places but nothing too difficult, and is appropriate for anyone with moderate fitness. The monastery is incredibly beautiful and the donuts they sell are very tasty with blueberry jam!
